The vinyl edition of Concrete Jungle and the Dub will be out shortly.
Clinark has released the tracks from the demo stage to the final production with 7 previously unreleased versions of the 'Aint that' Riddim. The 'Aint That' riddim was originally composed by Clinark in 2005 for his acclaimed debut album 'Journey to Foreign (2009). The ‘Journey album is a 20 track album. All 19 of the songs were composed and written by Clinark with several collaborators featuring on the album, including Maxi Priest, Gramps Morgan and Peter Heritage, Irie Love, Kofi, Fantan Mojah, Luciano and Troy Anthony.
Over the 4 years that it took to bring the production out. the popular 'Concrete Jungle' & 'Aint that' songs were developed from the same riddim. 'Aint That' was originally a song that Clinark wrote on his own, independent label Nurture Projects Music, in 2005. It was one of the most favoured songs for a time amongst the few at the beginning. In 2008, Clinark approached Richie Spice's management about collaborating on another riddim for the album; Richie Spice decided that he wanted to use the 'Aint that 'riddim for a new collaoration. Clinark says' It was a dilemma at first, Richie came back with 'Concrete Jungle’ and it was outstanding but after all the work we had put into 'Aint that ' and the the fact that I loved singing the song,I couldn’t put it aside either, so after a discussion we agreed that we would use the same riddim for 2 songs on the album.'
Also in this collection is a demo track 'Raw Mix' that shows the strength of Clinark's earlier vocals at one of the recording sessions as Mafia & Fluxy studio in Tottenham north London. This being one of the last projects produced at the legendary duo's studio, with Gussie P as the engineer in 2006.
