POWELL, Wyo. – K.I. Computing, provider of IT services for Wyoming businesses, announced today the rollout of their cloud computing services.
“We’ve actually been involved in cloud computing over the past several years, but our involvement has increased dramatically in the last few months,” said David Kellett, Owner of K.I. Computing. “We’ve observed an pretty significant increase in interest from local companies.”
For Kellett, this increased interest doesn’t come as a surprise. The economics of the cloud, he says, are quite appealing to cost-conscious businesses.
“Cloud computing allows small businesses to access enterprise-level software at an affordable price from the Internet with no expensive upfront costs. There may be an onboarding fee, but it’s easily accessible to even the smallest of businesses.”
K.I. Computing’s involvement with cloud computing runs deep. The company has become involved with a variety of cloud- and tech-related organizations, including Cloud/SaaS, the Small Business Development and Managed Services committees of the Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA).
“Our goal is to help create standards that will apply to all technology companies to help their clients provide best-in-class services,” said Kellett. “This means we are leading the way and setting the standard that will help businesses increase their bottom line, streamline processes, and equip them with superior hardware and software without breaking their budgets. Our cloud services play a big role.”
