Co-Author of “The Leadership Code”, Kate Sweetman confirmed for The HR Leadership Congress

(Free-Press-Release.com) March 29, 2011 -- World renowned Kate Sweetman joins India’s Leaders at the HR Leadership Congress India 2011 in New Delhi on the 27th – 29th April at the Le Meridian Hotel.

Kate has co- authored ‘The Leadership Code’ which is the one of the most talked about management books of today - synthesising the best research and practice from the past 50 years to answer one fundamental question – “What is it that makes a leader effective?” She has written many articles on leadership, teamwork, creativity and gender intelligence. She has also spoken in meetings and conferences worldwide. Kate instructs at MIT, was an editor at Harvard Business Review, and is considered an emerging guru by the London Times' Thinkers50.

Kate recently led a roundtable discussion hosted by The Ideas Exchange to a closed exclusive group of 30+ industry leaders from across India’s corporate and non-corporate landscapes in recognition of the centenary of International Women’s Day in Mumbai. This discussion looked at the role of women in leadership, and how this group could produce some groundbreaking ideas on the subject. Gender diversity for diversity’s sake, Kate feels, doesn’t contribute much unless it’s integrated into a company’s overall strategy and culture.
