Coat Drive to Benefit Local Charity

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 8, 2009 -- To help local individuals in need this winter, Finn Chiropractic Group is teaming up with VOICe by initiating a coat drive at its Seven Fields office. The office, located off of Rt. 228 next to SiBA Restaurant, will serve as a coat drop-off site from now until October 24.

VOICe is an organization based in Butler County that supports survivors of violent crime. Earlier this year, Finn Chiropractic Group designated VOICe as its 2009 charity, and continues to direct all charitable efforts to the group.

“We’re proud to help VOICe in their efforts to support local people in need,” said Dr. Shawn Finn, clinic director. “And it’s an easy way to give something back, by simply going through our closets and pulling out those old coats we just don’t wear anymore.”

New patients who contribute a coat and make a $10 cash donation will receive a free chiropractic exam and consultation at the Seven Fields office. Existing patients who do the same will receive an additional maintenance adjustment at no charge.

Anyone interested in donating a coat can check Finn Chiropractic Group’s website, www.finnchiro.com , for hours of operation, or call 724-776-2673. The collection will take place until October 24, to ensure that the coats are received by those who need them prior to the Pittsburgh winter weather. Dr. Finn said their goal is to present VOICe with 100 coats.
