Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist Joins New Hampshire- Based Family Wellness Center

(Free-Press-Release.com) September 23, 2011 -- Denise Moquin, Psy.D, is excited to announce the opening of her practice in Londonderry, located at Healing Hands Chiropractor. She is a licensed clinical psychologist in NH. She graduated from Antioch University New England with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and from Notre Dame College with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. She completed her internship at the Southwestern Vermont Psychological Consortium and her post-doctoral fellowship at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA, an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Moquin’s current practice specializes in treating both anxiety and depressive symptoms. Anxiety and depression can be debilitating and can stop someone from pursuing their life goals and dreams. Dr. Moquin works collaboratively with her patients to identify and change behaviors and thoughts associated with anxiety and depression that are stopping people from moving forward in life. She provides psycho-education around the mechanisms of anxiety and depression and introduces strategies to manage anxiety and depression more effectively. In addition to conducting therapy in the office, Dr. Moquin provides therapy in the community and in the home when clinically warranted. She does not accept insurance at this time.

Over the next few months Dr. Moquin will be offering Free Informational Sessions on a variety of topics, including community-based exposure therapy for the treatment of specific fears, health anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, hoarding, school refusal, and driving anxiety.
