Colie Brice Releases 20th Album entitled Live At The Saint

Recorded live at the Saint in Asbury Park, NJ by Jack "Hinge" Pitzer, "Live At the Saint" comprises Colie Brice's 20th release over the past 15 years as an active indie recording artist. Formerly from the rock group Phantom's Opera, Colie Brice has been a mainstay in the New Jersey music scene for many years. His style is erratic, eccentric, experimental, and eclectic. His music is often comprised of random inspired moments of radiant brilliance interspersed with restless, mediocre, meandering - yet heartfelt and always searching and clawing at the roots of rock & roll in an urgent quest to find the vein of his own artistic authenticity. Colie could be improvising a progressive space jam in one musical moment and/or belting out a traditional blues based rocker in another. He possesses a fierce but tasteful southpaw blues style on lead guitar and a voice that has been compared to Jon Bon Jovi, Freddie Mercury, Vince Neil, and John Lennon among other formidable vocalists.

Colie Brice is a late bloomer who has endured a musical career with many fits and false starts, abrupt stops, and jagged bumps in the road. He's dangled on the edge of mainstream success throughout several periods in his life, but changes in the market, chronic self sabotage from personal issues, bad timing and other contributing factors have consistently conspired to help him successfully elude a sustainable music career.

None the less, the man maintains a rugged and stubborn persistence and a cast iron creative will that simply won't fade.

It is his hope and intention that one day after enough hard work and perseverance, his catalog will find a discerning audience for his unique aural odyssey and enable him to retreat peacefully to his island home in down east Maine.
