FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) March 7, 2010 --

Mister Photon Media (at http://www.misterphoton.com) A local HD TV camera crew provided HD video crew services to a NY Producer and AT&T wireless for post Olympic coverage and 2010 Winter Olympic footage acquisition with the VariCam along with the HDX900 cameras in Vancouver, 4 USA states, as well as Colorado Springs Colorado locally. Using tape based HD video acquisition was ideal to minimize crew size while keeping the separate HD crews working without the restraint of download and additional assistance required for non tape based cameras; however P2 HD video was used for quick turn around needs and web video social media demands as well. HD videotape also was used for a backup for spots to be cut later, for web video to be used later, corporate videos including long form corporate video; more critical lended in strength by DVCPRO HD videotape.

Starting in Colorado Springs - Mister Photon Media's camera crew with the hiring production company directed by AT&T focused on a couple campaigns for AT&T television spots, with employee relations corporate videos initially; however, the needs evolved for other purposes. The HDX900 and VariCam lended to the need for HD footage and t the needs demanded to be archived.

With the clients preferences set on larger CCD camera sensors the DVCPRO HD videotape cameras parred the demands with the smaller P2 cameras used as additional by the camera crew. With this need the critical footage was gathered with DVCPRO HD videotape cameras with larger CCD imagers like the HDX900 and VariCam. For digitizing Panasonic DVCPRO HD VTR's were used (Panasonic HD) along with Mac Final Cut Pro (http://www.apple.com) portable edit systems with hardware provided by AJA video by the hiring production company.

Chief director of photography Nick and crew traveled up to Canada, along with the production company + AT&T entourage, and back to Colorado, Vermont, Washington, and NY quickly putting the need for HD differently in each state based on proximity. The quick schedules, the need to multiple rapid turnarounds plus the need to have the critical footage backed up permanently with less storage prompted HD video onto DVCPRO HD videotape for primary camera specification along simultaneous recording via a FS100 FireStore. P2 cameras like the HVX200 and HPX300 were used as B cameras for additional footage and shorter HD video duration demands. The HDX900 and VaricCam DVCPRO HD videotape cameras we're used for the broadcast focus and to retain a HD videotape archive for future insurance. P2 also was used for FTP and HD video sharing from state to state as well as the high definition footage recorded to the FS100 DTE FireStore docked to the HDX900.

To keep a balance between future proof video archives with videotape and fast edits by transfer from P2 alternate cut footage the camera crew used DVCPRO HD videotape (HDX900 and VariCam) and P2 for specific demands as well to supplement each other. The P2 HD video was recorded during to the HDX900 videotaping for the high def footage archives and the P2 was made immediate for web videos to be rapidly released enabling the production company to advertise for AT&T within hours. Additionally a FS100 FireStore (by http://www.focusenhancements.com) was docked to the HDX900 HD camera to record digital video files in Quicktime, and MXF format P2 for the campaign evolving into a national campaign outside Colorado for various needs well into the future, but the high definition campaign eventually focus ended up back in Colorado Springs for post Olympic HD production at the OTC + some other Colorado cities for the production with a rush to videotape and record HD video for future campaigns focused on http://www.google.com/video and http://www.youtube.com . The HDX900 and FS100 FireStore eventually became the Alpha camera combination with the footage immediately available from the FireStore drive and the DVCPRO HD videotape available for digitizing and a long term, low cost permanent backup without the hassles of burning DVD's to backup external hard drives. As the campaign settled back to Colorado Springs Colorado for the camera crew, production company and AT&T the winner evolved as the HDX900 due to low cost HD tape backup, choice of professional lenses and the ability to talk the the FireStore enabling the HD footage fast and forever.
