(Free-Press-Release.com) January 9, 2012 --
Local artist Noreen Ayonayon has worked out of her tattoo studio and art space for almost two years. And on January 13, she is having the Grand Opening, making this space a vital safe haven for art and community outreach.
The local artist has designed the space, Soul Collective, to be a hub for art, poetry, music, film, design, local initiatives, community building and alternative health and information in South Phoenix -- an area that she says definitely lacks a support system (galleries, art houses, etc.) for local artwork.
Until the official opening on January 13, Ayonayon says she and her business partner will be busy setting up the space on Central Avenue and Roeser Road for rotating exhibitions, workshops, other issues that contribute in the direction of: sprouting, composting, growing, indoor gardens, alternative health, building, alternative/free energy etc. And performances from local bands, poets, and troupes.
On the Grand Opening night, the space will feature artwork by Ayonayon, Angie Duque, Martin Truther King, Uriah Moreno 33’, Ginas Original Az, Tom Dead stuff, Aleta Wellings, Kirk O’Hara Mouth Painter, Joe Dragt, Linzy Miggantz, Photographized, Bodie Maez the Legend, Broke Bot: Carol Rogue, Aldo Jeffrey, Serena Agha, Sweet Sauce Apparel, Yai, Banding Hendrix, Bonnie Belle Photography, Rocky Giles, Clay Fields, Rob Jensen, Trevor the Tinman’s Celler, Isabell Diggins- Fund Raising, as well as performances by LDK, Liliana Cota, E-LOCC & I.Q., 2-D, Rae Rae, The Search, Adam Smith, Arizonaz Own Hustlaz, Ride or Die Dynasty, Alexis Mancio, Madeine Quevedo, Kristy Bormann, Brina Mendoza, and Hector.

Central Ave. in Phoenix. For more information, go to the official Soul Collective website.
