FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New YORK ,New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) March 20, 2011 -- I am happy to inform my readers that I am now developing another project in regards to the exposing the underbelly of AMORC. This should emerge some time in 2012.

For the time being, I would like to present a review of my book The Prisoner of San Jose. Although I am going to be forthright, I am not at all trying to comment on the value that these readers have assigned to my book, which is their right and their business- but only to certain points they have made that might be interesting to readers of this blog.

The book, The Prisoner of San Jose, is very deep and is truly valuable for those seeking in-depth knowledge of AMORC. However, it fails to suitably address the means of escape from cultism—or at least, from AMORC. The author’s escape was by stroke of luck, which others who are already deeply involved might not have. Another important issue that the author did not address is how to muddle through the labyrinth of modern cultism. Otherwise, I would have recommended that universities and schools in general should incorporate this book into their respective curricula. This probably would help the younger generation understand the implications of belonging to a cult.

The author, Pierre Freeman, generally focuses on idealism, money and power as the main motives behind cultic recruitment, while recognizing the existence of various hybrid combinations of these motives, as well. I very much agree with his claim that cultic recruitment is often is largely spurred on by the main leader’s personal quest for power. What really baffles me in regards to this book and cults in general is the fact that members do not seem to grasp why they even belong to such groups. So, as I thought about this, I stopped and asked myself, “Why wouldn’t they know?” And as it happens, I got the answer quite soon after I posed that question. It’s because they are already mesmerized!

Today’s world is full of dangerous cultic activities, and the progenitors and members of these cults are proud to tout that what their teachings trump all the other teachings available on the planet. For instance, I have seen several publications from AMORC, present the cult as the only veritable source of self-actualization and true esotericism, whereas, from what I have gathered by reading this book, it’s far from it.

Therefore, for those who want to know the truth about AMORC- it is a cult. As the author puts it, “AMORC is a religious dictatorship run by an imperator—a Latin term used in various ways during the Roman Empire but evolving into a word basically synonymous with emperor.” It subtly drafts how it wants its members’ lives to be into small booklets called monographs, which each member is expected to use as a standard of life. This process replicates the way the Christians claim the Bible is their standard, and the Muslims say the Koran is theirs, too. All these groups claim one book or another is their standard. The reality is that, either consciously or unconsciously, they dogmatically sink into their minds whatever their leaders indoctrinate them with.

As my final comment, I will note that I give this book a 4-star review because I am not so generous when it comes to giving ratings. The author is truly very deep. He did a thorough job on AMORC as well as other groups, too.

My Comments:

I should note here that it is quite true that if I hadn’t accidentally stumbled on some information on the Internet, I might never have been able to forge a map to escape from AMORC. What I stumbled on was the essential truth of mind control and the way it works to alter personality by programming certain concepts hypnotically into the unconscious. And, in this way, as the reviewer says, the story of my escape does not provide a very good solution to the cult member who needs or wishes to escape. Why?
Because it seems to be based on chance.

What the reviewer fails to understand is that I wrote Prisoner and, later, AMORC Unmasked, to greatly expand the opportunity for cult members to find my information. Two books- with websites and various content scattered throughout he Internet- and, hopefully, one day, making their presence available in bookshelves and in book reviews in many venues throughout the world. These books do not simply give an account of generic cult programming, but rather specific information on AMORC and how it seduces prospective members to give up their very core, conscious identity to a cult which has acquired great expertise in programming the innocent.
