FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Phoenix, Arizona, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) December 5, 2011 -- The Jaguar brand is a notable luxury car brand that many car enthusiasts aspire to own. But like most cars, Jaguar cars sometimes experience transmission problems.

As owners of older Jaguar models can attest, even Jaguars experience transmission problems. Virginia Auto Service, Phoenix AZ's number one car service, is here to share some of the most common complaints when it comes to Jaguar transmission.

1.) Difficulty with shift linkage – This is usually related to conked out or misaligned cables, damaged release bearings or leaky hydraulic cylinders.

2.) Clutch trouble – This may caused by a tattered or tripping clutch.

3.) Trouble with the gear box – This may be due to busted shift forks, defective synchronizers, wrecked gears or worn out bearings.

4.) Stuck shifter – The transmission will only shift into first gear automatically. Other gears can only be obtained by shifting manually.

5.) Reverse transmission delays – This occurs when there is a need to wait a few seconds after shifting before the transmission engages into reverse and transmission slippage. Some auto mechanics feel that the culprit could be the shift solenoid. Some perceived transmission problems can also be traced back to a faulty brake switch.

If you are experiencing any of these Jaguar transmission problems, it’s important to act on it right away. Contact a trusted and professional auto repair like Virginia Auto Service.
