Community Tax Relief’s Wage Levy Lift Program is applicable to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) wage garnishments. Typically if the Tax Payer is a W-2 wage earner and their employer is notified of an IRS Wage Garnishment, the taxpayer is subject to lose all but a few hundred dollars a paycheck and if the tax payer is a 1099 employee, they could be subject to lose 100% of their income; so CTR feels this program could be extremely beneficial to taxpayers that are experiencing a garnishment as the Wage Levy Lift Program should typically take seven days or less to fully process. At times, this can be just a temporary solution in order to lift the garnishment immediately, and CTR will most likely need to move their client quickly into Phase 2 of their tax resolution program (The Resolution Phase) for a permanent resolution program that could produce significant tax savings.
