Soroptimist International Northwestern Region’s Northwest Coalition Against Trafficking (NWCAT) will host the annual Northwest Conference Against Trafficking January 14-16, 2011in Portland, OR.

United States of America -- Free-Press-Release.com-- Nov 29, 2010 -- Portland, OR – Soroptimist International Northwestern Region’s Northwest Coalition Against Trafficking (NWCAT) will be hosting the annual Northwest Conference Against Trafficking January 14-16, 2011in Portland, Oregon.

NWCAT is a coalition of many Agencies, Political Leaders, Community Organizations, Individuals, Media and Business Supporters throughout the Northwest working to Inform, Educate, and Protect the women and girls from the Human Labor & Sex Trafficking in the Northwest Region of the United States of America.

The conference will offer breakout sessions (continuing education units being offered this year), networking receptions, keynote speakers, a luncheon, exhibit resource expo, brunch & brothels w/ actress and advocate Daryl Hannah, and continuing education trainings. The Jane Velez-Mitchell Journalism Award will also be presented. The emcee for the conference is Alexis Del Cid, Koin6.

Other speakers include: Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna, Linda Smith (Shared Hope), Eric Brown (YWCA Greater Portland), Investigator Reporter Michelle Sigona, and Bradley Myles (Polaris Project) and many others.
