Congress! Garbage in equals Garbage out.

Portland, Maine, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) October 9, 2010 -- In November, we should have two choices to cast our vote. First, vote for America. Second, vote for America. Wouldn't that be great, but far from the reality of what will occur. Recently, I read an article by former Congressman Lee Hamilton, explaining why Congress has become so partisan. WIth the advent of computers, the parties have been able to draw their congressional districts. In doing so they only have to play to their parties constituents. That is why the maps are either "Red" or "Blue" when

election results are reported. This enables our representaives to play the constituents, either hard left or hard right. It also benefits the special interest groups as well as the folks who finance their campaigns. Once elected, they follow the narrow agenda of their party. Gone are the days of "bi-partisanship", here are the days of partisan bickering and special interests.
The majority of Americans are no longer represented as a result. We are no longer a priority.

We have a Democratic agenda or a Republican agenda. There is no American agenda. When our representaives are sworn in they must have their fingers crossed behind their backs, because they certainly do not represent America, they no longer represent the constitution which they swear they will uphold. Capitol hill has evolved into a mound of garbage. Garbage legislation, garbage regulation, corrupt garbage, disrespect garbage, let's get in front of the camera's and spew more garbage. Some are insulted that they get no respect. Well, from one perspective if you put garbage in you get garbage out. If you put some respect in you may get some respect out. Until our representatives are either replaced with Americans, who care about the constitution, who care about the people, our country will continue to evolve downward and may even disappear, because of these single minded, greedy politicians who have put their agenda ahead of the American people. Why can't they walk into the Capitol building and leave their party affiliation behind, and say "Today I am an American". Is it because of power, holding onto their seat and serving the folks who put them there to begin with. Where are their moral and ethical values. The bureaucrats have also seized power, because Congress is not doing it's job. Taxation, fees, and regulations have eroded our freedom. The great American giveaway has left our county without good paying jobs, without a vibrant industrial base. we have evolved into a paper tiger. Our representatives, no longer write, nor do they read the legislation they vote on.
One can conclude, that our representatives are Democrat first, American second, Republican first, American second.Can we dare any representaive who reads this article to deny what is stated herein. Unfortunately, you are the Garbage we voted in, and the Garbage we need to vote out. Unless, you are willing to put America first, once again. Then again, do you really care if the American Dream exists for your kids or grandkids. Do you really care if they pay for the debts which you have burdened this country with, or do you even get it? It is the representatives choice Respect or Garbage!
