Holding it’s First Registration Blitz, Looking to Sign up the Cities Finest
Hospitality Workers.
Connect for the Best has been on Toronto’s online job search scene a few short months. After
launching their website, an online job portal, in June they are already making waves. Toronto’s
top hotels are already using CFTB to find the best employees for this holiday season.
Creator of CFTB, Margaret Readings, comes from years of hospitality management. She

understands the ebbs and flow of hotel work but abhors the reliance on temporary agencies,
“my success as a manager was dependent on my ability to find and select the best people for
the job.”
Signing up people that currently work in or have worked in hospitality, CFTB checks references
and verifies that the workers found on the site can do the job they say, and will seamlessly fit
into other hotels busy days. CFTB gives hotels the opportunity to rely on staff that have the right
experience, when they need them and workers the opportunity to manage their schedule,
acquiring hours across the city as they desire them.

In an economy that has seen higher than average unemployment rates and news stories of
joblessness and struggle, Connect for the Best, is offering employees with wavering hours a
solution.
Looking to fill their roster with employees who have experience in hospitality and banquet
services, the Registration Blitz takes place over two days at the ING Orange Cafe at Yonge and
Shuter in downtown Toronto. From 2pm - 7pm on the 7th and 2pm - 5pm on the 8th of
November, Margaret and other CFTB employees will be on hand to walk workers through the
website and get their profile online and ready for employers.
