conTAGion - You're IT is now live on the App Store

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 23, 2011 -- conTAGion is essentially a game of Tag combined with the excitement of zombie movie survival experiences. Utilizing the GPS feature on smartphones, conTAGion offers a unique way to play location-based mobile games. conTAGion differentiates itself from competitors in the location-based mobile game arena by offering an exciting game experience that is directly influenced by the player's real-time location.

When a player launches conTAGion on their smartphone, multiple "ITs" or "zombies" are chosen randomly. A zombie player has the ability to "tag" human players whenever they come within range of their infection radius. When a zombie player "tags" a human player, they transfer their infection to the human player, thus making the human player a zombie and allowing the zombie player to return to a human form.

Non-zombie players or human players need to survive the zombie apocalypse by avoiding zombie players by all means. Human players will have access to various items and weapons in the game that increase their chance of survival. Some of the items and weapons include baseball bat, chainsaw, shotgun, molotov cocktail, and anti-bacterial soap. These items and weapons have specific uses against zombies, for example, using the baseball bat against zombies will reduce their infection radius (tag radius), which gives extra time for a player to run away from zombie players.

The ultimate goal of the game is to remain human for as long as possible. The longer a player stays human, the more experience points they earn to level up and unlock new weapons.
