Convention for Beatles Fans adds Guests to line-up

Connecticut: New special guests have been added to "BEATexpo 2009," the convention for Beatles fans coming to the Holiday Inn Downtown Stamford, CT this November 28-29!

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 8, 2009 -- Connecticut: New special guests have been added to "BEATexpo 2009," the convention for Beatles fans coming to the Holiday Inn Downtown Stamford, CT this November 28-29!

Along with Peter Tork of The Monkees, John Lennon's recording engineer Dennis Ferrante, original Beatles promoter Sid Bernstein, Greg Hawkes of The Cars and Butch Patrick of The Munsters, producers have are proud to announce the newest additions to their star-filled musical festival celebration the music of the 60's and the Beatles era.

Joining the current line-up of celebrities are:

~Clay Cole, legendary television personality who was New York's answer to Dick Clark. Clay was a broadcast pioneer in the rock & roll field, mixing music and skits which paved the way for MTV, Saturday Night Live and other shows. Clay was the only TV host to have both The Beatles and The Rolling Stones on the very same show. He has written a new book. "Sh-Boom: the Explosion of Rock 'n' Roll," being released October 1, and he will be on hand to meet fans, sign autographs and talk on-stage.

~Jude Southerland Kessler, author of the wonderful historic novel, "Shoulda
Been There."
~Shannon, world-famous rock & roll artist, will be bringing her amazing art to "BEATexpo 2009," after just completing her work at the Hard Day's Night Hotel in Liverpool, England
~Four of the musicians responsible for creating the new album, "Garage Band Tribute to the Beatles" -
~VANILLA FUDGE lead guitarist Vince Martell
~NAZ lead singer Stewkey
~TUFF DARTS lead singer/guitarist Tommy Frenzy
~Garage Band Beatles lead singer/guitarist Pat Horgan

~Members of the 60's band THE FIFTH ESTATE ("Ding Dong The Witch is Dead")

Also, joining the "BEATexpo 2009" musical line-up of The Beatles Forever Band, Octopus's Garden, Tim Palmieri's A-Z Beatles Songbook Show, The Monkees' Peter Tork and The Cars' Greg Hawkes (performing his "Beatles on Uke" show) is Rotary, a young CT rock band which specializes in latter-era Beatles material and just appeared on the same bill as the Guess Who.

"BEATexpo 2009" is the first event of its kind in the New York/New England area in twelve years. Advance tickets are now on sale for only $15 each online from https://beatexpo.ticketleap.com/BEATexpo. Tickets will be only $20 at the door if not sold out in advance. The producers note that there are also a few dealer/vendor table spaces still available.
