With over 14 years of professional experience in healthcare consulting Ms. Kovash spent seven of the past eight years as a Vice President for perioperative and anesthesia services consulting firm and subsequently one year as a Senior Manager for a national healthcare consulting firm. During this time, Ms. Kovash has managed over 75 perioperative operational reviews and anesthesia-related assignments, assisting hospitals and anesthesia practices with streamline scheduling and patient throughput processes, establishing new perioperative governance models, optimizing business management and IT utilization practices, improving financial performance, and growing surgical volume. Additionally, Ms. Kovash has conducted extensive research in preoperative evaluations and was an integral part of a start-up firm that developed preoperative preparation software, helping to establish an advisory board of nationally recognized surgical and anesthesia leaders and creating business development opportunities both nationally and internationally.
Prior to her experience in healthcare, she worked for hotel asset management and assisted living development firms. Ms. Kovash holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business/hotel administration from the University of New Hampshire, with continuing education in finance, business valuations, and lean methodologies.
