DC marked World AIDS Day with many events including a presentation on the importance of financial planning for people living with AIDS by Corey Hankerson JD EA..

(Free-Press-Release.com) December 13, 2011 -- The nation’s capital marked World AIDS Day with a number of events on Thursday. Included in the day's events was a presentation on the importance of financial planning for people living with HIV / AIDS including using life and disability insurance by insurance agency owner Derrick Johnson of capital Team Financial along with financial advisers Corey W Hankerson JD, EA of the Equity Financial Group. The event took place at the Family and Medical Counseling Service located at 2041 Martin Luther King, Jr., Ave., SE, Suite 303.

Members of the community were also treated to free HIV / AIDS testing by the DC Department of Health.
