COTR REFRESHER AND ACQUISITION UPDATE 17 & 18 March
First day includes COTR Refresher, Update, and Ethics/Procurement Integrity, and second day includes a Performance Work Statement (PWS) course overview with samples and exercises.

COURSE LOCATION

The University of Virginia/Virginia Tech Northern Commuter Campus is located conveniently on the ORANGE METRO line at the West Falls Church stop. The campus is located just 400 paces across the parking lot from the Metro Exit to the front door of UVA's commuter campus. Convenient to downtown DC and northern Virginia it is an ideal location for any course. Commute time from downtown DC is approximately 25 minutes by Metro train to the campus front dooor.

FOOD
The campus is located one-half block from an open air mall that has several eateries, and a McDonald's just one block away.

PARKING
The campus has its own parking lot charging about $5 daily (cash only) and across the street at the METRO has ample parking if using a METRO Card (there is no attedant, so you must have a metro card.

REGISTRATION

Students must bring your receipt with you for sign-in unless your agency uses an SF-182, in case your name is not on the official sign-up listing. Your receipt will serve as your official registration online. Students without receipts and not on the registration list will NOT be admitted to the class. All students registered with an SF-182 shall bring a copy of the document to class for registration.

INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY
The lead instructor is Mr. Robert Knauer who is both a CPCM with NCMA, and CPPO with NIGP. DAWIA AND FAC-C Level III certified in contractinig with 32 years of federal experience he will teach both classes. He serves as managing director of The Acquisition Institute, and is but one of the lead instructors teaching contracting, COTR and Public-Private Partnership courses.
