This two-day Basic Negotiation Skills Course focuses on team building, negotiation planning, fact-finding, strategies and tactics that have been found to be successul in government contracting. The instructor, for the course will take students through team building exercises, and negotiation exercises that will challenge and allow for use of individual negotiation skills, building upon the basic foundation of what it takes to become a good negotiator. The course discusses both pre-and-post contract negotiations, but it not totally contracting based. Many of the exercises are simply focused on what it takes to negotiation in life, at home, in the office, with co-workers and others.
