Coye Law Firm: Amber Williams graduates Stetson University with juris doctorate and master's in business administration

Orlando, Florida, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) April 21, 2011 -- Amber Williams, case manager at the Coye Law Firm in Orlando, Fla., will graduate Stetson University May 14, 2011 with her juris doctorate and master’s in business administration.

Williams started attending Stetson University in the fall semester of 2008 after finishing her undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She majored in economics and earned her bachelor of science in business administration.

Stetson University, located in Gulport, Fla., is the first university in the state of Florida to implement a college of law. It is also the first college in Florida to have a female lawyer earn her law degree. At Stetson University, Williams was the secretary of Phi Delta Phi, a legal fraternity. She said her time there was well spent and she’s happy to have committed three years to such a rewarding education.

When Williams has graduated, she says she plans on continuing her career at the Coye Law Firm, focusing on family law. She also says she eagerly awaits tackling her long-term goals.

“I would like to volunteer and do some pro bono work, especially with the bar and the guardian ad litem program,” Williams said.

She says it’s her goal to help foster children through the reform of the foster care system. Graduating Stetson University will take her one more step toward that goal. The attorneys and staff at the Coye Law Firm congratulate Williams on this momentous achievement.
