Welcome to the first edition of Alert Home Care’s newsletter focused on articles related to body, mind, and spiritual wellness. You cannot have one without the other.
I’ve had a strong desire lately to get certified as a Life Coach. I strongly believe it is my calling. I’ve been asked “how do you know what you’re calling is?” My answer to that is your vocation should be your avocation as well. Simply said, your job should be doing something you love to do even if you didn’t get paid for it.
I quit my 22-year career at a Fortune 500 company to do what I wanted to do. My main goal was to do something I loved to do and have more control of my time. I'm redefining my goals once again. I want to put my bachelors degree in psychology to work and focus on Life Coaching. I meet a lot of people that are going through life without any sense of direction, no focus, no health, no joy but I’m here to change that for you today!!
Let’s begin with some power questions to determine where you are, why you are where you are right now, and where you’d like to be. Please get a large 8-1/2” spiral notebook. Now, write these questions down and your answers in it. More exercises to come! Always date your entries.

1. If you were to FULY live your life, what is the first change you would start to make
2. What areas of your life could be upgraded/tweaked?
3. What could we work on now that would make the biggest difference in our life?
4. How would you feel about doubling that goal?
5. What are you tolerating/putting up with?
6. What do you want MORE of your life? (Make a list)
7. What do you want LESS of your life? (Make a list)
8. What are three things you are doing regularly that don’t service or support you?
9. How could you make this goal more specific or measurable?
10. What would be the biggest impact from achieving your goals?
11. What would you try now if you knew you could not fail?
12. How can we make this something you’re aiming towards, rather than something you’re trying to move away from?

15. What’s one thing you would love to do before you die?
