Craig Crawford Memorial Scholarship High School Scholarship Program Awards Eight College Students.

“We congratulate the entire 2009 High School scholarship recipients and the entire graduating class. Our commitment to values and mission has not been deterred throughout these troubled times. We are doing everything possible to support children and families within the communities to cushion escalating education costs. Craig Crawford Memorial Scholarship has doubled our number of high school scholarship efforts to compensate for the depressed economy. The students, families and communities need our support more than ever during these economic times. While most charities have receded, our board unanimously decided this was not a time to falter, leading to the decision to double our historical high school scholarship efforts. Our goal is to take all financial worries away from the students in the future for their entire college educations. We are saddened by the statistics that children and adults are not achieving advanced education due to monetary restraints. The national report cards on education show higher education rates declining or stagnant from the last 38 years in this country, and that is a priority that we must change. We are making great efforts to better the communities but much more is needed,” states Brent Crawford, Corporate Vice President, Craig Crawford Memorial Scholarship.

The Craig Crawford Memorial Scholarship provides scholarships for high school students and law enforcement Peace Officer Academy certifications. The philanthropic mission is to provide education grants to graduating High School students and specialty grants for law enforcement communities designed to meliorate communities. The CCMS high school scholarship program was designed to lessen the financial burdens of college education for graduating High School students. Craig Crawford Memorial Scholarship’s purpose is to provide specialized funding for law enforcement agencies and provide higher education opportunities for High School students.
