Creative Art Management presents an exclusive art fundraiser at the Canvas Lounge in Vancouver, Canada

(Free-Press-Release.com) October 16, 2009 -- On Wednesday, October 21, 2009 (6 pm to 9 pm), Creative Art Management will present a series of innovative and intuitive paintings, “What Lies Within” by emerging artist, Linda Murphy at the Canvas Lounge. This event also marks the launch of Creative Art Management, based in Vancouver (Canada), with plans to expand to New York (U.S.) and London (U.K.). Appetizers, champagne and wine will be served at this chic event.

As an ongoing commitment to the community, Creative Art Management will donate 10 percent of the evening sales to the Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. This charity supports children living with a life-threatening illnesses and assistance for their families throughout British Columbia. Because of the generosity of donors and volunteers, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice is able to provide these services free of charge.

The evening exhibition “What Lies Within” was inspired by Emerson’s line: “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” In 2007, this thought ignited a fire in artist, Linda Murphy that fueled an intense curiousity into the nature of existence as expressed in her latest paintings. To create this series, she allowed her instinct to guide the automatic nature of the painting process to burst open the doors of the subconscious, and possibly the collective unconscious. It was Murphy’s exploration of meditation, shamanism, metaphysics and spirituality that led her to find ‘art-as-teacher’ with acrylic paints, rags, brushes, palette knifes and by hand.

Ioulia Reynolds of Creative Art Management is the producer and art dealer of the “What Lies Within” fundraiser. Her vision is to help build the careers of emerging artists and to take them to the world-wide art scene. As a graduate the London Sotheby's Institute of Art and alumni of a private fine art school in Moscow, Russia, along with her global connections, Ioulia Reynolds is well-qualified as an international art dealer.
