The banks sends us enticements which gives us erroneous message. We think it is okay because they say so and they give us the facility to spend.

Credit card Companys are in for the kill & unfortunately we are falling prey. They tempt us with "preapproved" cards, once we accept their offers and accumulate a little debt they know how to lure us into trouble.

For example, if you're susceptable to over spending with your credit cards, if you notice when your available credit limit is getting close to zero, a credit card company will raise it. You may forget that you are paying 11%,15%,20% or more to use the companys' money. Most of that is purely profit for them. Any debt based on overspending is bondage. It occupies your mind, weighs on your spirits and puts you into a corner. Or worse may even bankrupt you.

There are agencys that may guide & help you if you are in debt. Also, regain control of your finances and your life. There are many resources outside too ex. online, books, councelors etc. Seek information & then use bankrupcy as a "last resort." If you do file for B.K. then start fresh again and move on with your life.

There are good debts too. For example, student loans for tuition, a mortgage loan as long as it is not beyond your means.

Negative debts are overspending on things which you don't really need. For example, going out Partying with friends, buying a new car when you already have one. During the holidays spend wisely and begin your shopping early. Usually rushed purchases end up more expensive.

If you use your money or credit cards wisely you will be in good financial standing with credit companies and yourself.
