The item is then tumbled in a heated kiln of special sands and crushed walnuts shells continuously for 7 days. The special sands round out the corners of each piece and the crushed walnut shells produce the high-gloss shine. A silver-colored metal loop is attached to the back of the pendant and a clutch-pin or pin is attached to the back of the brooches. Earrings include silver-colored metal hooks.

Our mosaic glass cross pendant and wall crosses are made of tiny slices of antique glass from Tuscany, Italy. It takes 15 minutes to mount each piece of fused glass into a highly polished brass cross foundation. Pieces that "appear" painted are really two or more colors of glass fused together and delicately cut into the shape needed such as a flower, petal, or leaf. The wall cross contains an amazing 700+ pieces of glass and is best featured in a shadow box or frame. This secret type of glassmaking dates back more than 1,000 years ago. Several mosaic glass cross pendants and wall crosses are special order items only. These items are made to order and generally take 4-5 weeks from order date to delivery. The wait is well worth it!
