The year 2011 saw CS Labels add the brand new Xeikon 3300 to its tools kit. The Xeikon 3300 can deliver printed labels at resolutions of 1200dpi, which also features a 1200 x 3600 dpi addressability which gives the shape detailing in applications requiring fine textual use. With a total of 5 colour stations of which four are for standard colours and the fifth is typically used for allowing spot colours, opaque whites or even the security toner. This amongst many other features makes the Xeikon 3300 a real treat for label manufacturers. Another feature is that it can print on a variety of substrates which include co-extruded film, unsupported film, paper, transparent and opaque foils and also paper board up to 350 GSM.
