Curran Signs Print-on-Demand Agreement with Cambridge University Press

New YORK ,New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) December 9, 2011 -- In August, Curran began executing on a new agreement to provide print-on-demand (POD) services for Cambridge University Press, one of the world's largest academic publishers. Curran will print and fulfill orders for a select number of “electronic-only” proceedings that Cambridge publishes for the Materials Research Society (MRS).

Since 2006, Curran and MRS had a partnership where Curran produced and fulfilled on-demand print volumes of the Materials Research Society Symposium Proceedings series titles, originally published online as “electronic-only” volumes. In October of 2010, MRS and Cambridge formed a publishing partnership whereby Cambridge began producing MRS's Online Proceedings Library (OPL), among other flagship publications. According to Dave Curran, VP Business Development with Curran Associates, “Once the MRS / Cambridge agreement was settled and Cambridge recognized the valuable service Curran already provided to MRS, they signed on to have us provide the same great service for them.” Curran now has over 300 MRS titles available in print, which may be ordered on the Cambridge page of Curran’s website, http://www.proceedings.com/0023.html.
