Custom Motorcycle Company Launch Safety Campaign to Prepare Riders for the 2011 Season

Pompano Beach, Florida, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) June 10, 2011 -- Demon's Cycle Inc., a custom motorcycle builder and custom motorcycle parts supplier, has launched its 2011 safety campaign with a new set of guidelines and reminders for riders preparing to take the road this summer. After a long winter it is important to ensure that bikes and their riders are ready for the open road. A well maintained bike is a safe bike.

Healthy tires are essential for road safety. After a bike has been sitting for a long period of time, visual inspection of the tires is required. Check the air pressure as well as the tread. Examine the grooves and sidewalls. Small cracks in the sidewalls are often a sign of dry rot. To ensure the safety of the rider and of other road users the tires should be changed if in doubt. recommend Avon tires for performance, cost and safety.

Brakes also need to be inspected. Riding is fun but stopping is important! Check the brake pads for wear as well as the rotors. Check for scoring and warping. Warped or scored rotors can damage the calipers and endanger lives. If in any doubt change the brake components.
