CWorks Mobile, a subsidiary of CWorks Systems, Nominated for Prestigious International Mobile Award

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - CWorks Mobile, a research and development subsidiary of CWorks Systems(Mesdaq:0079), has been nominated as the best e-Content example in m-Business & Commerce from Malaysia in the World Summit Awards Mobile. CWorks Mobile was nominated for this award due to its development MWorks, the mobile application of CWorks’ premier maintenance management systems. The World Summit Award Mobile (http://www.wsa-mobile.org) recognizes the world’s best mobile content and most innovative cell phone applications from over 100 countries and regions.

This is the second international award nomination in 2010 for CWorks Mobile. Earlier this year, CWorks Mobile was nominated to represent Malaysia in the 2010 Mobile Premier Awards in Innovation (MPA) (http://bitly/6xs218.)

By leveraging a web based architecture and an ‘always connected’ design, mobile users with devices that are either connected to a LAN/WAN network using WiFi/Bluetooth or devices that are G/EDGE/GPRS compatible will be able to view allocated work orders through CWorks CMMS instantly. Through MWorks, management will have realtime update of status of work outstanding and completed, thus improving work scheduling and efficient usage of resources, ultimately increasing customer satisfaction and the company’s bottom line.
