This 12 week session is dedicated to improving your efficiency and threshold power through “tempo sweet spot training.” This interval-training program is perfect for preparing the body for the demands it will face during rallies and late-season cycling and triathlon races.
In Cycling Performance classes, your bicycle is installed onto a CompuTrainerTM, a training device that measures your performance in watts, which provides a much more accurate measure of your workout than spin classes or distance or time-based workouts.
Coach Richard Wharton, author of Watts Per Kilogram: Using the CompuTrainerTM Indoor Ergometer to Improve Your Performance and owner of the Cycling Center of Dallas says, “In this base training tempo program, participants will increase their stamina and speed, without sacrificing strength.”
