Dak Hatfield, Development Manager at IDI,
Earns CCIM Designation

Fort Worth, Texas (Sept. 14, 2009) – Dak Hatfield, Development Manager at Innovative Developers Inc., has been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

He was among 199 commercial real estate professionals who earned the designation by passing the CCIM’s Comprehensive Examination. They join just 15,000 commercial real estate professionals worldwide that have earned the CCIM designation since the program was founded in 1969.

Hatfield has an extensive background in project management and renovation, and years of experience with real estate development. He is part of the IDI development group that brings in new opportunities and oversees development processes for projects.

He also is active in the Fort Worth community, serving on the Hospitality Committee for the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial, as a board member of the TCU Young Alumni and a Young Leader Council member of Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council. Hatfield also is a member of Vision Fort Worth, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR) and the Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA).

He received a degree from Texas Christian University with a BBA in Finance with an emphasis on real estate. He is certified by the Project Management Institute and is a Texas Real Estate broker.

The CCIM designation is awarded to commercial real estate professionals upon successful completion of a graduate-level education curriculum and presentation of a portfolio of qualifying industry experience. The curriculum addresses: financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis and investment analysis. CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis.
