Smith, a premier career and personal brand coach in the Dallas area, took time from her busy personal branding and marketing groups, as well as a full-time Human Resources career with a major insurance provider, to join an elite group of career and workplace professionals in the launch of the newly launched Workplace Coach Institute (http://workplacecoachinstitute.com) providing leadership and coaching solutions for global talent.
Nancy Branton, M.A., PCC and Cynthia Kivland, M.Ed, Master Career Counselor, CLTMC are both nationally known leaders in the career industry. They are founders, and respectively - CEO and President - of the Workplace Coach Institute with the vision to develop a coaching, talent, and leadership training firm dedicated to bringing back humanity and respect into the global workplace.
Of five core areas of focus, Career Development will be led by Tanya Smith as both an instructor and coordinator of new programs that will be facilitated under this segment. The other four core areas are Leadership and Team Development, Social and Emotional Intelligence, Assessment Certifications, and Respectful Workplace.
The Career Development curriculum will soon launch a Job Loss Recovery Program Certification Course facilitated by Lynn Joseph, Ph.D., founder and president of Discovery Dynamics, Inc. The course is designed to introduce career, EAP, counselors, coaches and HR professionals to a scientifically proven process to guide individuals or groups to regain mental toughness and emotional resilience throughout the job search process and is based on the Dr. Joseph's best-selling book.
Smith’s company is Be Promotable - professional career and personal brand resources for women. Located in the Dallas area, Smith conducts coaching through the use of the latest in remote technology, hosting clients from all over the country. Smith has recently ended a four day global telesummit, the Women of Color Career Success Telesummit, hosting ten nationally recognized presenters with expertise in career and business. She is forthcoming author of The Promotable Brand: The Ultimate Brand Marketing Guide for Professional Women Promoting a Solo Business on the Side.
