Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 4, 2011 -- Bishop Art District’s newest restaurant opened its doors just before the New Year and is now serving guests its full slate of health-conscious American-California cuisine and fine wines seven days a week.

Decanter Restaurant and Wine Lounge – located on Bishop Avenue just off 8th Street in the space formerly held by Café Madrid – is now serving lunch 11am to 2pm daily, featuring menu choices such as Paninis, grilled seafood and pasta dishes. Lunch prices range from $7 to $12.

Dinner is available from 5pm to10pm each day with current selections including couscous and papaya salad, grilled rainbow trout with stewed seasonal vegetables and roasted half chicken with bacon-glazed new potatoes. After the first quarter, the dinner menu will change monthly with dinner meals costing between $7 and $22.

Sunday guests can enjoy an ever-changing Champagne Brunch featuring an array of traditional menu items plus specialties created by Executive Chef Tony Gardizi. Cost of the Sunday Champagne Brunch buffet, which runs from 10:30am to 3pm, is $14.95 and will include complimentary unlimited champagne.

In addition, Decanter will offer an estimated 150 wines by the bottle and about 30 by the glass as well as host happy hour 4pm to 7pm weekdays from its full bar selections. Live jazz music by Vandell Andrew on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Catering services are available and private parties and special events are also welcome.

Decanter Restaurant and Wine Lounge, which welcomed about 300 guests at its Grand Opening December 29th, is the sister concept to Capriccio Ristorante located in north Dallas near The Galleria Mall and is owned by Dallas-based Decanter Restaurants Inc.
