This year’s event (originated in 2009) is a who's who of current female-fronted metal bands. The roster includes Avariel, Deadmanswake, The Unvoiced, Losing Scarlet, Angelical Tears, Shield of Wings, A Sound of Thunder, Solarsphere and Lindz Riot from Mary and the Black Lamb. After the festival the Chicago Women of Metal (a local group of female metal fans) will also be on-site to spin their favorite tunes until 3:00am CST.

The location of Reggie’s Rock Club was chosen by Deadcenter Entertainment owner Eric Sanchez. He states, "Reggie’s is the perfect location for this festival. The place has a lot of personality and prides themselves on being a true rock club". Reggie’s is located in the South Loop of Chicago just off interstate 55 or interstate 290, on State Street. The evening is promotionally sponsored by Rock Scarz Magazine, Femme Metal Records and Inclination.
