Dance Canvas holds audition for professional dancers - This Saturday

(Free-Press-Release.com) August 11, 2009 -- (Atlanta, GA) Dance Canvas is seeking versitle professional dancers for several upcoming performances, including a show featuring Andre 3000 and Ludacris.

The audition will be held on Saturday, August 15th from 1:00-3:00pm at The Studio Atlanta Dance - Vinings (1675 Cumberland Parkway, Smyrna, GA 30080). Dancers should arrive early to warm up (doors will open at 12:30).

We will have several choreographers who will be auditioning dancers (ballet, jazz, modern/contemporary, hip hop). Dancers who want to audition for pointe work, please bring pointe shoes and be prepared to stay until 3:00 pm. Artistic Director, Angela Harris is also looking for an African American ballet dancer (pointe work).

Compensation varies per performance. (Some performances are no-pay, but all have great exposure and networking opportunities.)
