Dance for a Cause - Dancerz Stage Adult Dance week! Partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank

Huntersville, North Carolina, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) November 20, 2011 -- Dancerz Stage kicks off the Month of December for a worthy cause. The week of Dec. 5th, Adults will receive a discount on all Adult classes with the donation of 3 or more can goods.

Dancerz Stage is holding a food drive from December 3rd to December 17th

December is the most anticipated month on the calendar because of the Holiday Season. The Holiday Season provides all with a great opportunity to exchange gifts, and eat with family. At Dancerz Stage, we recognize that everyone isn't as fortunate to have the same great experiences that most of us have during this Holiday Season. So during the month of December, Dancerz Stage is holding a Food Drive to help the less fortunate. All students are encouraged to bring nonperishable can goods to the studio.

Dancerz Stage is a North Charlotte dance studio offering ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theater, modern/contemporary fusion, technique class, Zumba and more for ages 2 to Adult. Dancerz Stage will kick this event off on December 3rd with a Winter Open House beginning at 12:30 PM followed by an Adult Dance week starting on Monday December 5th. All Adults will receive money off of their class if they bring can goods.

In these tough economic times, it’s important to not only be thankful for what you have but to share what you have with those who may do not. This food drive is an effort to do that. It is part of our continuing effort to support the Charlotte community. Dancerz Stage encourages you join in our efforts and make a difference in someone’s life today.

All of the donated goods will go to the community's Charlotte Second Harvest Food Bank. Please join us in helping these families by donating non-perishable items.

Some examples of desirable foods are:
•Canned tuna, chicken, or other meats
•Canned soups or chili
•Plastic bottles or cans of 100% fruit juice
•Pasta, rice, or other grains
•Healthy Cereal
•Dry or boxed shelf-stable milk
•Canned Beans & Canned Vegetables
•Peanut butter
•Dry boxed stuffing mixes, gravy mixes, etc

Bring your donations to Dancerz Stage between 12/3 and 12/17 during normal class hours and place your donations in the bins provided in the waiting room and/or in the dance studio.

Adults the week of December 5th join Dancerz Stage for Adult Dance Week. Dancerz Stage offers Drop-In Adult Dance classes for low prices. Adults will receive a reduction in their normal tuition with the donation of 3 or more nonperishable can goods. The Entire week will be focused on Adult Dance. Bring 3 or more can goods and try all the Adult classes we offer plus a taste of some possible new classes for a discounted price. Call studio for details.

-Tuesday @8:00 PM- 8:45PM - Hip Hop ($7 with 3 or more non-perishable food items)
-Wednesday @6:00 PM- 7:00 PM - Zumba ($5 with 3 or more non-perishable food items)
-Wednesday @7:00 PM – 8:00 PM- Belly Dancing ($10 with 3 or more non-perishable food items)
-Thursday @6:30 PM - Hula Hoop Fitness ($8 with 3 or more non-perishable food items)
-Thursday @7PM - 9PM - Intermediate/Advanced Adult Jazz and Modern ($7 with 3 or more non-perishable food items)
-Friday @645 PM - 745 PM - Intro to Adult Dance Ballet and Jazz ($7 with 3 or more non-perishable food items)

-Friday @7PM - 9PM - J-Sette fused with Hip Hop $10 (Bring a can good...get $1 off… limit is 3 for price discounts)
