Dance Studio in North Charlotte

Dancerz Stage offers an extensive array of dance, musical theatre, and fitness programs for students of all ages, including Creative Movement (Preschool), Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern/Contemporary Fusion, Bellydancing, Floor acrobatics, turns/leaps and conditioning (TLC) classes, Zumba and Zumba Toning.

Students from ages 6 to Adults can shake their thing in Hip Hop dance class. Additional classes including Move with Me for Caregiver and Child or Tippy Toes Twos for toddlers, Zumba and Zumba toning for the fitness junkies and Guest Instructor classes in a range of styles are all available. Private classes are available in a range of styles as well as birthday parties for those looking for a fun activity to get people engaged and having a good time.

Dancerz Stage has 2 fully equipped dance studios just a stones throw from UNCC Charlotte. Easily reached from I-85, US- 29, US-49, and I-485. Dancerz Stage aims to provide a place where students of all ages can learn to dance in a friendly and relaxed environment.

“We are very excited to be opening in this University North Charlotte location,” says owner Trish Brown. “We want everyone who is interested in dance to be able to access classes which are not just aimed at the younger dancer or professional dancer with previous training, but also take into account those people who are starting to learn to dance later in life and just want to have a go for fun, fitness and to make new friends. The dance studio will have something for dancers of every age and level of experience.” She is thrilled to feature professional sprung dance floors as a standard feature in both studios. The floor provides resistance or the appropriate friction for the style of dance being performed. The floor also provides the resilience or spring to help protect the dancers’ joints and muscles from injury. Both studios are available for rental by the public at very reasonable rates.

The studio will also open its doors to fitness trainers, yoga and pilates groups and other dance companies, artists or members of the public who are looking for a venue to hold their own dance or fitness classes or private training sessions.
