Darryl Wilson Reinforces Positive Vision for GOP

Marietta, Georgia, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) February 28, 2011 -- Darryl Wilson reinforced today his plan for the Cobb Republican Party in the term beginning March 12, 2011 at the county-wide GOP Convention.

Said Wilson, “Our campaign has made a great liftoff. My vision is to provide positive communicative and accessible leadership that will take the Cobb County Republican Party from ‘great to exemplary’. ” “I’m an organizational team leader and team builder. Reinforcing and documenting our infrastructure is my top priority; then by bringing forward new ideas and additional energies for the GOP we will win the battle and have a 2013 Republican Presidency.”

“Every day more people tell me how excited they are about our team and the rebuilding of America. I myself was energized by the over 171,000 people who voted for John McCain for President in 2008. I ran and was elected 1st Vice Chair in 2009 and focused on buttressing up Cobb County and Georgia and we did it well. Now we are ready to win it all, including the White House, and I know the way.”

Darryl Wilson is a Navy veteran who is well-known and respected in the community. He grew up in the military and moved to Cobb after 9/11. He is the current Cobb County GOP 1st Vice Chairman. Darryl and his wife Sherrae are the proud parents of Cobb County students, Arielle (12) and Alexa (10) and Darryl has two older children, Tamille (30) and Darryl Jr (27). Tamille is a Georgia school teacher and Darryl Jr is an enlisted, active duty member of the US Marine Corps.

Darryl flies as an Airline captain. The Wilsons are faithful members of Turner Chapel AME; the family has attended Vacation Bible Study at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church during the summer break. Darryl has served as member of the Cobb County United Way Cabinet, the Executive Board of the 100 Black Men of North Metro, where he doubled the membership in 2 years, Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education, East Cobb Civic Association, and Center for Family Resources.
