David Moorer West will became a free agent

will end the the contract and become a free agent. David Moor West was selected by New

Orleans in the 2003 draft and was always the forward of this team. The 30-year-old West's

career totals rank him in the top five in history in a number of categories, including:

games played (530, 3rd), minutes played (17,160, 4th), points scored (8,690, 2nd), total

rebounds (3,853, 2nd) and blocks (435, 3rd).

Injured on March of this year, West said that he is almost in good health now. The gerneral

manager of New Orleans Hornets , Dell Demps ,expressed that he will try his best to

persuade him to stay. David West is confident about his condition and said in the interview

that no matter what happens, he is just doing what he wants to do. Lance yang, the agent if
