Davis' in Lexington opens new store in Lexington.

David Small, the owner of Davis' Men's Women's and Children's has announced the opening of a new location for Medical Uniforms in Downtown Lexington Tennessee. The new store will provide an outstanding assortment of medical uniforms from Cherokee, Wink, Koi, Sketchers, and Urbane. This will be the third location for a Davis branded store on the Lexington Square joining the Men's store and the Women's and Children's store.The store will be located on the west side of the downtown Lexington square in the old National Stores location. A soft opening occurred over Labor Day weekend with a grand opening scheduled for October 20-21 in conjunction with Davis' 76 Anniversary event.

David Small commented "our Medical Uniform business has continued to experience excellent growth in the last two years since its introduction. The only way to do the product justice is to grow into a new location". The new store will have 1800 square feet and will include new lines that couldn't fit in the existing Women's and Children's store.

The expanded space in the Women's Store will be used to expand the assortment of Women's clothing and accessories. Later this Fall, the store will introduce a new Handbag and Wallet assortment to provide customers with a full selection of stylish clothes and matching accessories.

Originally call Davis Dry Goods, the store has been open for 76 years as a locally owned family business. It has continued to prosper over the years with an expansion in 2007 that opened a second location for Women's and Children's fashion clothing. The Women's and Children's store carries name brand fashions such as Columbia, Carhartt, and Roxy. While the Men's store has Levis, Columbia, Carhartt, and Duck's Unlimited, as well as, footwear by Red Wing, Merrill and Wolverine.
