DEADWOOD GULCH GAMING RESORT RECEIVES TOP HONORS AT GOVERNORS CONFERENCE

(Free-Press-Release.com) February 2, 2011 -- Deadwood Gulch Gaming Resort posts their service philosophy right on the front door - "Extraordinary customer service is not only our standard, it's our way of life".

It's obvious to the guests who come to visit the Resort that the staff indeed lives up to this philosophy. They were honored with the 2010 George S. Mickelson Great Service Award for the second time.

This award honors a business, community, or organization that has done an exemplary job exceeding visitors’ expectations in customer service.

To achieve this, employees participate in familiarization tours of attractions and activities in their community. New employees complete the Office of Tourism's free on-line customer service training within one week of being hired. Many of the staff members take part in giving back to the community through charitable organizations as well. Deadwood Gulch Gaming Resort also provides on-going service training once a month at their All Staff Meetings to ensure they are addressing employee concerns regarding customer service as well as to keep excellent customer service fresh in everyone’s mind.

They reward their employees when they are caught doing something right or mentioned positively in a customer comment card.
