The nursing staff at Hale Pu’uhonua Senior Assisted Living recently achieved advanced essentiALZ certification from the Alzheimer’s Association.

The nursing staff at Hale Pu’uhonua Senior Assisted Living recently
achieved advanced essentiALZ certification from the Alzheimer’s
Association. This in-depth program provides comprehensive training and
testing to ensure high quality care is provided by those who work with
Alzheimer’s patients. Robert Olin, owner of Hale Pu’uhonua, stated
“Treatment options for Alzheimer’s patients are still quite limited, but
by completing this training we are now better equipped to alleviate the
chronic confusion, anxiety and agitation those with Alzheimer’s experience
and this can significantly improve their quality of life.”
