Nearly three years ago, Jimmie Reign, a songwriter of hits never heard, singer of songs then only in her mind, embarked on a journey into the Bay Area's music scene. Quickly gaining a fan base by singing and writing for well known artists (E-40, Clyde Carson, J. Valentine), her reputation became that of a young woman who was all about business- a "Go Girl". Her mixtape "Go Girl" hosted by Big Von of 106 KMEL and sponsored by sSingersroom.com and Right On! Magazine, quickly became a fan favorite and to this day continues to be downloaded. She was titled by fans as "The 1st Lady Of The Bay", a title that she states "is one I plan on living up to". Now with a more mature sound and way of thinking, Jimmie wants to expand from the Bay Area to beyond...
Early next year, Jimmie will shed her "Go Girl" image and begin the metamorphosis into a "Pretty Girl", with the debut album set to be released in May and a few "secret projects" leading up to the album.
