Apart from the creditors, you may also need to negotiate with the collection agencies or the credit bureaus. You can get sample letters for these purposes also. You can get sample debt settlement letter, debt verification letter, debt validation letter, letter to remove inaccurate information from your credit report, expired Sol notification letter, etc. from this section.
If a collection agency has been disturbing you regarding a debt you donât owe, then you can send a Cease and Desist letter to them. If you think that wrong information has been reported on your credit report, then you can send a dispute letter to the credit bureaus.
One of the unique features of the Sample Letters section is that you can embed it in your personal blog without paying a penny. If you want your consumers to get hold of the sample letters, then all you need to do is copy the HTML code and paste it in your blog.
The sample debt and credit letters are also available in PDF file. You can download the ebook consisting of sample letters for free. You can save the file in your computer and use them when the need arises.
Another interesting aspect of the Sample letters section is that it lets you give your valuable feedback. The section allows you post your comments on the letters, which may help the Community to make the letters more informative.
The DebtCC Community has also developed a section named Creditors Address Book. This section helps you get the contact details (address and phone number) of the creditors in USA. The Community has specifically developed this section for the benefit of the consumers. The consumers will need the contact details of their creditors while sending the debt letters or negotiating with the creditors.
So, if you need to negotiate with your creditor and donât have any clue about his/her address, then this section may help you out. You can type the name of your creditor in the search box of the section and click on the âSearchâ button. If the name of the creditor is enlisted in the address book, then you can easily locate him/her.
The biggest advantage of the Sample Letters and USA Creditors Book sections is that you can take advantage of them for free. You donât even have to join in the Community for this.
So far, the Community has obtained positive response on the 2 sections. The members are quite excited about them. A DebtCC community member, Jeorge Preston says, âI wanted to settle an account with my creditor this month. I found the address of my creditor from the address book. I sent the sample debt settlement letter to my creditor last week and it has been accepted by him. The letters are truly useful. I didnât have any idea how to write a letter earlier. But now I have some idea about the content and layout of a debt letterâ. Other members have also given some helpful suggestions to make the sections more useful for the consumers. The Community is working on incorporating the suggestions, which can make the creditors address book and the sample letters more informative and user-friendly.
