Delta Strike 3D Action Game Beta launched on Facebook

The Pro 3 Games team just launched the public beta of Delta Strike , an action packed 3D sci-fi browser game on Facebook . Based on the brand new Flash Player 11 Stage 3D technology, which supports hardware accelerated 3D, Delta Strike brings the quality of the PlayStation 3 right to everyone's browser and kicks off the revolution of Facebook gaming .

In Delta Strike, the player enlists as a G.O.R.E (Global Organisation for the Restoration of Earth) space fleet fighter pilot who is sent to missions in outer space in the Menr'akim System to battle the mysterious Shar'dal alien race. In order to survive, players have to upgrade their space ships with newest technology and sharpen their skills in battle. Hiring their friends as mercenaries helps the players to survive in space.

Delta Strike is a next generation social action game featuring role playing game elements, fun and challenging gameplay, a deep and engaging storyline , as well as high quality 3D graphics , music and sound. Until the final release, which is planned for March 2012, players will continuously receive updates and new game play features. Delta Strike is free to play and will feature in-game purchases of premium goods. Following Delta Strike additional games of other genres will be released, completing the users’ experiences of being part of the Delta Strike Universe. According to Adobe, about 70% of all browser games as well as nine out of the top ten Facebook Games are based on Adobe Flash. The high market penetration of the Flash Player enables games studios to reach eleven times more gamers than the current-gen consoles.
