FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Fort Walton Beach, Florida, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) September 28, 2010 --HR 3534 is the bill number, and CLEAR ACT is its name, and bi-partisan support came from those that opposed its passage. This bill, if passed in the Senate, will impose a $2 fee for every barrel of oil produced from lands leased from the U.S. This fee means that all foreign oil will cost $2 a barrel less until the year 2040 putting American oil producers at a fiscal disadvantage to their foreign counterparts. Oil produced from these lands will cost Americans on average 5 cpg (cents per gallon) more than foreign oil.

The national average that Americans pay in taxes per gallon of gas is 47.7 cpg and now with this bill and others coming it is expected to easily pass 50.0 cpg in the near future.
