The programme has been specifically developed to cater for the needs of large dental service providers. It will assist them in managing their training and mentoring programmes and also help them keep track and control the growth of their organisation-wide skill set.

Devised by Tipton Training’s CEO, Simon Williams, a former partner of Accenture, one of the worlds’s leading management consultancies known for developing its personnel, the CEP delivers dental training and has a Toolkit which helps businesses manage their most important assets - their people.

“We identified the critical challenges which all large people-based businesses have to master and saw that dental service providers could follow the lead of other industries which use training to attract, recruit and retain the best talent,” said Williams.

Tipton Training’s Corporate Education Programme builds on the dental training which its clinical director, Dr. Paul Tipton, has developed and delivered to over 2300 individual dentists. The CEP will be taught by Dr. Paul Tipton and other members of the Tipton Training’s Faculty.

Organisations which enroll dentists on the programme will use Tipton methods and approaches, based on scientifically-proven results, to improve planning, teamwork and, through finer quality execution, help to reduce failure rates and the risk of litigation. Corporate training logs, special assessment reports and on-line access to small group mentoring will make up the CEP Toolkit.

After completing the CEP, the dentists will possess the skills and confidence to deliver treatments with a greater certainty of success leading to improved clinical reputation for the organisation for whom they work. The courses which comprise the CEP can be delivered for an organisation over a number of years to ensure that the best talent is retained.

“Based on recent feedback from individual dentists attending our courses, if we were to train just 16 dentists in our Corporate Education Programme, from one dental service provider, it could result in additional earnings of around £260,000 per annum.”

Prices for each dentist enrolled on the Corporate Education Programme range between £7,000 and £9,000 per dentist depending on the training course and location chosen.
