DENTISTS PULL FROM THEIR HEARTS TO GIVE THE GIFT OF FREE TREATMENT

Orange County, California, United States of America (Free-Press-Release.com) January 27, 2012 -- Anaheim, CA—(January 09, 2012) – On February 12, 2012 , 7 Day Dental will kick off its second annual "Dentists Pulling from the Heart Day”. In partnership with Lestonnac Free Clinic and Youth Leadership America and in honor of Valentine’s Day and Dental Health month, 7 Day Dental will be giving the gift of free tooth extractions and fillings to the residents of Orange and Los Angeles counties.

The experienced dental team led by Dr. Chuck Le, will care for the patients in line on a first come, first serve basis from 10:00 AM with the help of more than 15 oral surgeons and general dentists.
“Dentists Pulling from the Heart Day is our way of giving back to the community, and helping people who cannot afford treatment,” said Dr. Le. “With the rising cost of dental services, and the current state of the economy, people need our help.”

The annual event will help serve a growing population of residents who cannot afford expensive dental procedures and as a result forego dental care until deteriorating oral health requires an extraction. “The people in need of this service have been in pain for a long time. We can do a little work to alleviate a lot of pain, and raise awareness of the need for better dental health care,” said Dr. Le.
To further help alleviate pain and reduce stress, massage therapists from Everest College will be on site to offer free services. In addition, this year UCSD and UCI will be sending student doctors to provide free medical consultations and exams. Also helping to make this event possible are community partners, Normandie Bakery and Lee’s Sandwich.

Dentists Pulling from the Heart Day will be held at the 7 Day Dental Lincoln office, 2265 W. Lincoln Ave., Anaheim, CA 92801. Anyone in need of tooth extraction or fillings is welcome. Patients will be examined and will receive extractions or fillings as time permits. Work will be done on a first come, first served basis. Free parking is available.

Lestonnac Free Clinic, founded by Sister Marie Therese in 1979, is devoted to providing free, comprehensive medical care to the poorest of the poor in Orange County, California, as well as dental care to our currently established patients. They are a non-profit, primarily volunteer organization working with pharmaceutical companies and local hospitals to meet the healthcare needs of low and no-income families in our community.
