Denver Colorado Metro Area New Home Sales Trending Shifting in Price Band Analysis

David Laffoon, President, noted that this trend is likely attributable such factors as far fewer sales recorded in the study period, to relatively fewer higher priced homes selling compared to homes selling in the more affordable ranges.

Laffoon noted that in the Denver metro area the greatest share of sales in the 1st quarter was the 17.2% share earned by a mid-range price band. The 2nd highest share of 15.5% went to the next highest price band among the 10 different price bands analyzed.
